i always enjoy reading your comments and wonder if poetry of war softens the horror of war - makes it more human in its approach? it sounds bizarre but poetry has got a human approach to the reality of war.
I bought this book after hearing Lyndsey speak in Bridport. I think it’s such a good book. Personally I didn’t need a deeper dive and I read only one section each day.
