Thanks for this very interesting analysis, especially regarding the effects of the consonants used. Good for helping fearful poets, to allow themselves to stop weeding out their own eccentricities.

Really enjoyed your thoughtful discussion of Allnutt's poetry! I haven't read much of her work, but now I really want to, as the way that she uses sound appeals a lot to me and both hearkens back to tradition while feeling new & fresh.
